Captain Will Swenson deserves to be awarded the Medal of Honor. Several participants in the battle, including Medal of Honor Recipient, Dakota Meyer, states that he was critical to the battle and deserves the medal. He was nominated for the medal, yet his award package was mysteriously lost. A second award package was submitted by General Allen. For the sake of common decency, he should be recognized for his valor. He should not be made the victim of a payback vendetta for having the courage to take his senior officers to task for their lack of moral courage to provide key fire support due to restrictive rules of engagement. This petition requests that the White House approves the Swenson's MoH award package they already have in their possesion.
