Award CNN's Piers Morgan the "Presidential Medal of Freedom" for supporting sensible measures to reduce gun violence.

Since the tragedy in Connecticut, CNN journalist Piers Morgan has consistently called upon American's from both sides of the aisle to come together and have a healthy debate to help reduce gun violence in America. Despite the criticism from gun rights advocates, NRA members and even a petition to have him removed from the country, Piers has continued to show steady resolve during this national crisis. Piers has been a voice of reason in this national debate by encouraging American across the spectrum to engage in this national solution together, rather than point the finger. I believe Pierce is a leader in promoting peace and tolerance in America. I am and American, a soldier and most importantly a father therefore, I request Piers be awarded the "Presidential Medal of Freedom".
