To offer the nations highest civilian recognition of appreciation to those administrators and teachers who sacrificed their lives so that dozens of children could live.
It is proposed that we award the award the Congressional Medal of Freedom posthumously to: Victoria Soto, Dawn Hochsprung, Mary Sherlach, Lauren Rousseau, Rachael D'Avino, and Anne Marie Murphy.
This award is the least our country can do to show our support and solidarity against random violence in our schools, and also gives us an opportunity to show our nation that we will not let the acts of a single individual thwart the humanity that we possess.
I humbly ask each citizen who reads this petition to sign and approve, and humbly ask the Congress and the President to review this petition and approve.
