award the Congressional Medal Of Honor to First Sargent Brad Kasal for his heroic actions on the battlefield.

Created by C.D. on February 14, 2015

We the people request that First Sargent Brad Kasal be awarded the Congressional Medal Of Honor for his heroic efforts on the battlefield to protect and save the Marines that he lead. After learning that at least 3 of his men were trapped in a house held by enemy gunmen, he assembled a team and risked his life to save them. He was determined not to leave a Marine behind. After 40 shrapnel wounds and 7 bullet wounds and most of his blood volume drained, he emerged from an Iraqi house with his finger still at the ready position on his weapon. This is a leader who leads "from the front". He did not release his weapon at the hospital until he knew that all of his men were safe. He is a living example of heroism and bravery and must be given this award.
