Award the Congressional Medal of Honor to General H Norman Schwarzkopf and Major Richard D. Winters for their service.

Created by K.T. on December 28, 2012

General Schwarzkopf and Major Winters both served their nation during troubling times in our history. The leadership they displayed was the type that cannot be learned from any school. It was the type that one is born with. Major Winters actions during World War II demonstrated a lead from the front type of leadership that helped save the lives of many of the men under his command and should serve as a model of leadership both for the military and civilians from the top on down. General Schwarzkopf served this nation for 35 years. He helped turn the Army around from one that was bitter after the betrayal by the civilian leadership during the Vietnam War to a professional organization that serves as an example of what armies should be like.
