Created by J.K. on November 13, 2012

The Presidential Medal of Freedom recognizes those individuals who have made "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors." Congressman Ronald Paul fulfills this criteria. For over 30 years, Dr. Paul has been a champion of freedom in economic, foreign, and social affairs, even when it was unpopular to be so. He has dramatically shifted the political debate of the nation and has helped bring its constituents together for freedom regardless of political party or ideology. Not just this, but Ronald Paul has served the United States as a doctor, veteran, and Congressman. Ronald Paul has the support of millions of Americans as they recognize he is a hero of the Republic.
