Ed Bradley had outstanding life distinctions as a trailblazer in over four decades of journalism, starting in radio in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Bradley matriculated to become a War correspondent (wounded in action), then becoming a prominent member of the White House Press Corp, and in other aspects of broadcast news.

Over the years Ed Bradley collected dozens of prestigious awards and accolades for his unique style of journalism. Ed Bradley’s accomplishments on the news program 60 Minutes ushered in more diverse journalist voices, and stories in media. Because of his life’s work, and contributions to journalism, it is requested for Ed Bradley to be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously from the White House.
