Award Edward Snowden the Presidential Medal of Freedom

Created by S.H. on June 18, 2013

The Presidential Medal of Freedom is awarded to recipient's for "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors".

Edward Snowden's efforts to unveil the unconstitutional violations of the American citizenry's rights by the National Security Agency may prove to be a pivotal moment for American civil liberties. We ask that the President award Edward Snowden the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his efforts of bringing awareness to the rampant violations of the basic human right to privacy.

Sign this petition and demonstrate to President Obama and the NSA that the citizens of America prefer they honor activism, rather than promote the violations of liberties.
