Award Elizabeth Laird aka the "Hug Lady" the Medal of Freedom for her service and dedication to the military family.

Created by R.I. on December 25, 2015

Elizabeth Laird aka the Hug Lady is a hero. When it comes to going above and beyond, the hug lady was the one person that any military member could depend on to be there. She ensured that every military member who deployed from Ft Hood was sent off with love, welcomed them home after their deployment, and attended funerals for all our brothers and sisters that we have lost. She has made an impact to nearly the entire armed forces and has been one of the few people that can we have all depended on to be there. She has touched the lives of over 500,000 military members over a span of 12 years. She is truly an American hero in the eyes of all the Soldiers around the world.
