Between 2008 to 2009, former NYPD officer Adrian Schoolcraft recorded evidence of corruption in his unit of the NYPD. This corruption included: arrest quotas, wrongful arrests, suppressing crime reports, and more. Though he faced intimidation and recrimination, Schoolcraft tried to do what was right. It is because of his brave actions to protect the citizens of New York and to protect justice, that I believe Adrian Schoolcraft should be awarded the Medal of Freedom.
