U.S. Olympic team member Heidi Kloser broke her leg seconds in to her first race. Despite being in pain,and wearing a cast, Heidi chose to walk with her team into Olympic Stadium for the opening ceremony. She put her overwhelming disappointment aside to walk with Team USA. She deserves an honorary Gold Medal for courage and exemplifying the true Olympic Spirit.
