Award Jeff Bauman the Presidential Citizens Medal for exemplary deeds at the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013.

Created by T.G. on April 22, 2013

On or about April 15, 2013 an improvised explosive device attack was made on the Boston Marathon causing deaths and injuring over one hundred spectators. Jeff Bauman was one of the severely injured spectators at the Boston Marathon watching and cheering on his girlfriend as she ran in the Boston Marathon. Jeff Bauman was a critical part of the FBI's process of identifying Dzhokar Tsarnaev - one of the suspected (now confirmed) Boston Marathon bombers - with accuracy and detail. Mr. Bauman was able to do this while heavily sedated and recovering from surgery to remove both of his legs which had been damaged beyond repair.
