Award Kayla Mueller the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her kindness, courage, and sacrifice under horrific conditions

Created by D.B. on August 29, 2016

Whereas, deceased American citizen, aid worker, and human rights activist Kayla Jean Mueller heroically sacrificed herself to help people in America, India, and Syria, and even renounced a chance at escape from captivity so several Yazidi girls could escape more easily; was kidnapped by one of America’s deadliest enemies, the “Islamic State”, a.k.a. ISIS, and perished in captivity; courageously endured brutal torture and abuse by her terroristic kidnappers; exemplified American fortitude, female courage, and religious faith under fire; inspirationally used her liberty to go to the Middle East and elsewhere and help others, showing that freedom is not just about self-service, but also about care and concern for those in need: the President should award her the Medal of Freedom forthwith.
