Jackie Robinson was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1984 for becoming the first African American to play in the major leagues. Larry Doby deserves the same recognition for becoming the second shortly thereafter. He was also courageous and paved the way for those after him. Award him a posthumous Medal of Freedom.
