There should be a Medal of Freedom or a postage stamp issued in recognition of the efforts of The Culper Ring, General Washington’s Revolutionary War intelligence group. The Culper Ring consisted of a close group of people based in Setauket, Long Isand. Their covert efforts was a major factor in helping General Washington to defeat the British forces in America.
