Dr. Salman Khan (through his website www.khanacademy.org), has helped millions of students from age 5 to 95 discover that math and science and STEM is fun. This is just the kind of innovation that we need for our students to compete in the 21st century.
Everyone talks about how to improve STEM education, but Sal Khan DID something about it. The nation owes him a thank you. I hereby petition the President of the United States, and the Congress, to award Salman Khan the Medal of Freedom.
