Award Medal of Freedom to Victoria Soto & collegues for their ultimate acts of bravery.

Created by K.S. on December 20, 2012

The staff at Sandy Hook Elementary gave their lives to save "their" children. Victoria Soto is my main catalyst. She faced the gunman and saved her class. They witnessed her death.
After reading the the requirements for the medal of freedom, it is clear these women are the EPITOME of what this award was created for.
To "honor civilian service" & "an especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of the United States, world peace, cultural or other significant public or private endeavors". We hail our wonderful military & uniformed public safety figures, and rightly so. But the courage these women showed, as well as the testimonials of the children who ran past their deceased bodies, cries for and deserves recognition. I implore all who see this to sign and share
