To honor Victoria Soto with the highest civilian honor of a Medal of Freedom,to be given to her immediate family,for her selfless act of protecting her students from the horrific execution that she endured by hiding them in cabinets and closets and telling the shooter they were in the gym in order to prevent their precious lives to be taken and knowingly gave hers instead.
