LT GARLIN MURL CONNER is second only to Audie Murphy in military decoration for his courage, valor, honor, and dedication to his country yet he was blatantly denied the medal of honor on a technicality. This man not only saved the lives of many but inspired the careers and military actions of even more. To deny him this award would be tragic and a slap in the face of the selflessness and voluntary sacrifice this man has made. This man is the shining example off what this award means and to say he has not earned it is to say that nobody since him has either- that would be a true disgrace.
