At Duke University, Coach K has led the Blue Devils to five NCAA Championships, 12 Final Fours, 12 ACC regular season titles, and 13 Tournament Championships. Krzyzewski is also the coach of the U.S. National men's basketball team, whom he led to two gold medals. He has earned the most wins in NCAA Division I men's basketball history. He is also the first Division I men's basketball coach to reach 1,000 wins. Coach K and his family is active in fundraising and support for the Duke Children's Hospital, Children's Miracle Network and the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Krzyzewski received the U.S. Basketball Writers Association's Wayman Tisdale Humanitarian Award honoring his civic service and charitable efforts in making a significant positive impact on society.
