Every person that is awarded disability has medical issues. That is the reason they were awarded disability in the first place. To make them wait two years and subsist on Medicaid is cruel. Medicaid is substandard and only provides a small portion of the treatment needed in order to either survive or recuperate from a serious illness. At present any person that is deemed disabled by the federal government has to wait a period of two years for Medicare, which is unreasonable and unfair.
Please help over turn this unfair practice and award newly disabled people the medical help they desperately need.
