Award the Presidential Citizen's Medal to heroic teacher Victoria Soto and any other, who died protecting their students

I propose our President, Barrack Obama, bestow posthumously upon heroic teacher Victoria Soto our nation's Presidential Citizen's Medal for being a person who performed exemplary deeds for fellow citizens when she placed herself between the gunman and her students during the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Furthermore, I propose the same for any other person who gave their life in a similar manner during this tragic event.
