Chris Mintz, an army veteran, ushered his fellow students to safety and by all accounts charged towards the shooting at the Umpqua Community College shooting. After being shot multiple times still attempted to talk the shooter down only to be shot twice more. After being treated his first concern was for the welfare of everyone else.
