American agriculture is the envy of the world because of good science being used to improve the seeds from which American farmers raise our food. Using the most advanced technologies, Monsanto has made available innovative crops resulting in higher yields, lower costs and requiring less use of pesticide. Making food available to the world's hungry helps fulfill a basic human right. Using agricultural land and water more efficiently reduces the human footprint and provides incalculable environmental benefits. Monsanto should be recognized for its good work making the world a better place and advancing America at the same time.
