In recognition of their cinematic and journalistic quest for truth, and in appreciation for their collective and individual voices toward the preservation of American liberty and democracy we, the undersigned believe that President Obama ought to individually award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Thom Hartmann, Rachel Maddow, Michael Moore, Keith Olbermann, and Ed Schultz.
