Chris Mintz, at the cost of his own personal safety and his family's security, did willfully interpose himself between an active domestic terrorist and that terrorist's intended victims. While sustaining multiple gunshot wounds and other injuries Chris Mintz's actions saved the lives of multiple people and displayed the greatest ideals attributed to mankind: Selfless Service, Sacrifice, Integrity, Honor, Valor, Courage, and Patriotism.
