Award the Purple Heart Medal to those Vietnam Veterans disabled by exposure to Agent Orange, an instrument of war.

Created by C.L. on November 12, 2012

Vietnam Veterans that were exposed to Agent Orange suffer debilitating diseases and illnesses that have contributed to major disabilities and in many cases premature death. This was caused by what has been classified as a instrument of war. These veterans paid this price, in war, in service to their country. It took our government decades just to give these veterans assistance with these diseases. This can be accomplished by a Executive Order of the Presedent of the United States. I ask that this final step be taken and the Purple Heart Medal be awarded to those veterans disabled by that instrument of war. Isn't it time we finally welcome home these disabled Vietnam Veterans, properly acknowledge and show our gratitude for the sacrafices they made in service of this great country
