award Robert Picata's 6 yr old son the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Created by A.C. on December 15, 2012

In Newtown, Robert Licata said his 6-year-old son was in class when the gunman burst in and shot the teacher. "That's when my son grabbed a bunch of his friends and ran out the door," he said. "He was very brave. He waited for his friends."

This child should be made an honorary member of the 5 branches of the military(Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and National Guard) and then awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his actions that resulted in lives saved during the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary. That a 6 year old child showed the bravery, presence of mind, and concern for his fellow students at extreme risk to his own life is an action that I consider well above and beyond any call of duty. Furthermore, he should be presented this in the Oval Office on national TV.
