As Commander-In-Chief, please acknowledge Robin Williams with the Kennedy Center's Mark Twain Prize for Humor because he cheered up so many US troops. He boosted morale during long deployments. The First Lady cares a lot about military families who have spent so much time apart through deployments.
He cheered up civilians: helping the homeless in Comic Relief, raising money for St. Jude's Hospital for children with cancer, athletes, and many others. He served the American public through his gift of humor. Many teachers were influenced by him due to his film Dead Poet's Society. He won an Oscar for his portrayal of Adrian Kronauer in Good Morning Vietnam.
