award the teachers and staff at Sandy Hook elementary school the Presidential Citizens Medal.

Created by M.L. on December 21, 2012

Please look into awarding the Presidential Citizens Medal to the teachers of the Sandyhook elementary school. The surviving teachers kept the children calm and quiet enough to save them from a horrific end. If they had not acted so bravely our nation would be mourning far more children. Their actions are a credit to the teachers in America and their community. Teachers in America deserve to be recognized for their enduring work and for their safe keeping of our real national treasures. Our government should award them in the best civic way possible. The Presidential Citizens Medal is an award bestowed by the President of the United States. It is the second highest civilian award in the United States.
