In Game 6 of the 2002-2003 NBA FInals, league MVP Tim Duncan recorded an incredible statline of 21 points, 20 rebounds, 10 assists and 8 blocks while clinching a second (at the time) NBA championship and Finals MVP. However, footage shows that he recorded at least two blocks that were not counted, and thus he deserves the distinction of a quadruple-double, one of only a few in history, and the only one in the finals. It may be trivial to worry about stats and records for a man as accomplished as Tim Duncan, but I also believe it would be relatively simple for the NBA to correct.
