award Wendy Davis (D-Fort Worth) with the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Created by J.H. on June 26, 2013

On June 25th, Sen. Wendy David (D-Fort Worth) held the line in the war against women. She stood for thirteen hours straight and gave a talking filibuster, all of it germane, to bring a special session to a halt and successfully stopped the passage of legislation that is an assault on women's constitutional rights under Roe v Wade. This is an especially meritorious contribution to the national interests of the United States, and should be recognized as such.
