Bail out the American people from their student debt.

Created by M.C. on April 13, 2016

In 2008, the U.S. government passed the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 allowing the U.S. Treasury to spend up to $700 Billion to help stabilize the then crashing U.S economy.

A bailout equivalent to the one provided to corporate America in 2008 would have the ability to provide higher education to the entire U.S. populate for approximately 10 years (based on data from USUncut).

This a plea to the U.S. government to provide a similar bailout to the youth of America. Youth who currently crave a higher education yet are unable to afford it without plunging themselves into a mountain of debt.

The benefits of higher learning are immeasurable. We the people ask the government to provide a bailout from the grips of student loans and an investment into our nations great future.
