Our government has assisted in the bailout of companies before, why not Hostess? 18,000 American union jobs are being lost, along with countless lunchtime treats. Since the invention of the Twinkie in 1930, it has been an American food icon. It would be a shame for this administration to allow Twinkies to disappear from our grocery store shelves.
