Create a program to bailout our young adult students and college graduates from crushing student debt. This would allow billions to flow directly into the economy, as young families can now afford a car, better housing, food, and so forth. I see this first-hand in my own family.
We can bailout the banks, why not our young adult population? Young adults who have already paid off student loans could be eligible for a yearly tax-credit.
This would be a wonderfully progressive way to give our economy a huge influx of new spending, and relieve the huge burden of years of debt hanging over our young families.
