Being that an unbalanced budget represents a clear and present danger to the people of the United States by having a significant portion of our tax money being spent on just interest instead of areas where it could be spent in useful matters and allowing foreign parties to hold some level of power over us because we have to sell ourselves just to stay operational it is obvious that this situation needs to be rectified. So we petition:
Enact corporal punishment, televised live on every C-Span channel, for every member of the House and Senate for every day that there is not a balanced budget that has been signed by the President.
