Balance the budget, and pay off the national debt.

Our government needs to start paying off the national debt. The first step in that process is to balance the national budget, thereby making the country more economically stable, and allowing the country to start paying off the 16 trillion dollar debt. We can no longer keep raising the debt ceiling. America was at one time the world's largest creditor, and is now the world's largest debtor. It's time that we get serious about the debt crisis and become more able to carry out financial matters.
