The federal budget is on a disastrous course. By continuing to allow the deficit to grow, we risk of harming our economy and placing a financial burden on future generations. The federal government must discontinue living beyond its means. Senior entitlement programs like Social Security and Medicare may very well break the budget and fail to serve the elderly in the upcoming years. Balancing the budget and reforming our entitlement programs should be of utmost importance.
