As the federal government has been deficit spending for many years and as it has been shown time and again that unsustainable spending results in significant economic distress and significant damage to our republic, this petition is for a law where anytime there is a deficit of greater than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress and the President are ineligible for re-election.
