BALANCE THE FEDERAL BUDGET! The government should not have the right to spend more than it takes in. Can't fix the debt.

It is impossible to decrease the debt by spending more than we take in. We have to balance the budget now to stop the bleeding. The country will not stand another fifty years at the rate we are abusing credit. And the more we borrow the more other countries, mainly China, will become our masters. You are a slave to the lender right? Maybe not now, but they will not always fold. One day they will say enough. But if WE say enough first? Then that day will not come. We can build a surplus, jobs will flow back in, money will come back to the people, they will spend, and this economy will rebound. Another recession? We never came out of the first one. The day people realize that, buckle up, and get serious? On that day this country will turn around, and on that day will our salvation be visible
