We strongly suggest the president nominate a Muslim-American to help fight Islamophobia and remind us that the United States is not a person; we are a diverse and loving people.
Our second suggestion is to nominate another woman to the court to even it out.
Another Latinx nomination would push against the discriminatory rhetoric affecting this group.
An Asian-American would be great too because one has never been on the bench.
Native American neither, even though they were here before any of our ancestors and forefathers.
Those who identify as LGBTQ have also failed to see anyone represent them on the bench.
An African-American could also be nominated for this position because our history and our present proves that the struggles of African-American have never disappeared.
