Balance public/citizen risk with private insurance increased costs for those who possess and use firearms.

Created by L.G. on December 17, 2012

Currently there is no financial dis-incentive for individuals and businesses who choose to blatantly utilize weapons in the general public and private property areas. It is known that the presence of a weapon in a house alone substantially increases the likelihood of that weapon or weapons to be used in violence against another human or living thing.

We ask that to dis-incentivize gun ownership that gun owners pay a slightly higher insurance property rate, proportional in amount to the amount of weapons and type of weapons (assault rifles=higher insurance) owned to provide coverage in the event the devices are used against unarmed citizens.
