The printing of money is eroding the purchasing power of the citizens of the United States. Inflation is acting as a hidden VAT tax on every American. Please stop burdening us with a debt that can never be repaid. Currently the Constitution requires that a budget must be passed every year. That has not happened in several years and the budgets that have been proposed have not been balanced. We elect leaders to do a job and part of that job involves making tough fiscal choices. Please pass a balanced budget Amendment to ensure that we the people are getting what we pay for, both in leadership and in the purchasing power of our money.
