Balanced Budget Amendment

As an American citizen and taxpayer, I hereby petition the President of the United States to call for an Amendment to the Constitution of the United States requiring the Executive Branch and Legislative Branch to submit a Balanced Budget each year. Further the House and Senate will be required to vote on the budget without any other legislative matters attached to the budget. In the event the budget is not balanced and agreed to by the Executive and Legislative Branches the parties each elected official will become term limited and not eligible to be reelected to any other Federal elected or appointed position. At this point the Budget Director will be required to implement mandatory cuts in Federal spending across the board with no exceptions until the budget is balanced and debt is paid.
