This petition would ban the ability of schools to receive federal funding for the implementation of abstinence-only sex education programs. It would also require schools to provide within their sex education programs accurate and adequate information to help protect teen's sexual and reproductive health and prevent unintended pregnancy and STDs. It would require the program to be LGBT-inclusive and it would also require schools to include a conversation about consent.
