Pat Ryan is a college football referee with the Atlantic Coast Conference. On Saturday, October 18th while he was working the Florida State vs. Notre Dame football game he threw a flag penalizing Notre Dame which subsequently changed the outcome of the game. This is not a petition to harm Mr. Ryan but instead to prevent him from being put in a position where he can negatively influence a football game, specifically a Fighting Irish game. In the days since the controversial penalty it has come to light that this is not the first time he has demonstrated a bias against Notre Dame and it would be a shame if he were able to nullify the hard work of student athletes on the field again. Please prevent Pat Ryan from acting upon his prejudice and permanently ban him from working Notre Dame games.
