The very definition of "affirmative action" is simply erroneous. Banning affirmative action will not be "abandoning a crucial tool to combat institutional racism" (cred. nydailynews); instead, it will stop the ridiculous demeaning acts for students of all races. It's pure insult to the races that are heavily supported by affirmative action (just google the score gap), and it's also extremely unfair to Asians and Caucasians that live in low income households and are inflicted by the painful effect that affirmative action creates for all.
We must stop the fact that affirmative action is purging the instrinsic qualities of college applications. Seek talent, and not striving for the unfair "balance" of race which is an insult to all races.
