My petition is to the common sense of all Americans. It is widely known that Alcohol related traffic accidents claim more American lives annually than does gun violence. If this administrations, and the American peoples, motives are to in fact save American lives, then finding a solution to drinking and driving would benefit us more than stricter gun control legislation. However, this common sense answer doesn't align with the political agenda for most. The tax revenue is too high on alcohol for the government to ban it. So, I ask you, fellow American's, and President Obama and Staff, what is more important to you? Is it saving the lives of Americans, or is it pushing your political agenda ahead at the expense of our 2nd ammendment and on the shoulders of the Connecticut tragedy?
