Animal testing is a cruel, barbaric practice that must be stopped at once. We cannot condone the merciless abuse and torture of animals to test things like makeup products and experimental drugs--and 92% of these drugs are deemed ineffective or too dangerous for human use even after 'passing' an animal test. There are alternative methods available that are far more effective, none of which involve inflicting unspeakable pain on animals, such as SkinEthic and simulated human patients.
We cannot turn a blind eye to the suffering of helpless creatures, ones that live and breathe and think and feel just as we do. Animal testing must be stopped and replaced by humane alternatives.
