Movies and video games put "virtual" assault weapons in the hands of adolescents. Movies and video games glorify these weapons and desensitize a person to violence. Movies and games objectify humans such that the "virtual" killing of an individual is play or entertainment.
This may not affect the majority of adolescents who watch these movies and/or play these games. It will affect troubled teens and young adults with a proclivity towards anti-social behaviors and violence.
Hollywood must do its part and help curb the violence.
